Deoxynucleotide Set bulk dNTPs

Individual, high purity deoxynucleoside 5'-triphosphates solutions of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP for use in all standard and sensitive PCR applications.

The set includes 4 of 100mM solutions of dATP, dCTP, dTTP and dGTP.

Spectral characteristics of dNTPs:

Deoxynucleoside 5'-triphosphates are chemically synthesized from deoxynucleoside 5'-monophosphate and purified by Ion-Exchange and reverse phase chromatography (purity > 98%). Purity is verified by HPLC. Performance of each lot of PureStrand dNTP set and mix is tested using PCR, long PCR and qPCR for sensitivity and reproducibility.

dNTPs effectively direct PCR with the amplicon size up to 10 kb. Each particular dNTP is free from any traces of other dNTPs. dNTPs are supplied in sodium salts, in solutions. Applications of dNTPs include PCR, qPCR, long PCR, Real Time PCR, RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, primer extension, DNA sequencing and labeling.

Competitor dNTPs have been shown to have traces of pyrophosphates. These impurities are hard to detect and will cause problems in PCR with Pfu DNA Polymerase due to Pfu DNA polymerase's high sensitivity to pyrophosphates. All dNTP batches from Sibgene are carefully tested for effective PCR both with Taq DNA Polymerase and Pfu DNA Polymerase. Moreover, the products are tested for the absence of other inorganic salts.

dNTPs provided by Sibgene are RNase free. Ambion's very sensitive fluorescent test for RNase activity can not detect traces of RNase in the results.
